Detroit Lions Draft Class Review
The 2026 NFL Draft is in the books, and boy was it a mad one. Here, I’ll take a look at the Lions’ haul, giving my honest assessment of each player. I’m not a fan of giving grades, especially before the players have even entered the building, it will be more of a summary of the type of player they are and their fit in Detroit. 1 (17) – Blake Miller – OT – Clemson Despite the usual draft day buzz that the Lions were looking at trading up, General Manager, Brad Holmes hel

My Final Round 1 Mock
So here we are, a year of watching these players, studying their tape, evaluating team needs, reading approximately 45,843 mock drafts, and after all that, I still don’t have a clue which players will get their names called on Thursday night, outside of no.1 overall. This draft, more than any I can remember, has become incredibly hard to predict, there is seemingly no consensus on these player grades, and 31 teams could go in a multitude of directions. So, this is my best gues

Lions 7 Round Mock Draft
The 2026 NFL Draft is a week away, player evaluations are complete and teams’ draft boards have been set. So, it’s time for a Detroit Lions 7-round mock, with trades. This will be a predictive mock based purely on gut feeling in what feels like the hardest year for predictions in a long time, outside of the first overall pick of course. The Lions still have holes to fill on both sides of the ball, that’s what I’ve tried to do with this mock. So let’s get on with it. 17.

My Favourite Day-3 Safeties
Welcome to the final instalment of my favourite day three players and we’re finishing with safety. I love this safety class; it has some serious depth, not just role players but guys who I believe can become solid NFL starters. I will also include players I have listed as slot defenders. As always, a player needs an average consensus rank of 110+ to be considered a day three guy. My Top 10: 1. Caleb Downs - Ohio State 2. Dillon Thieneman – Oregon 3. AJ Haulcy – LSU 4. Emman

My Favourite Day-3 DT’s
The interior defensive line class looked so promising before the college season and although most of the top guys had subpar seasons for various reasons, I think there is some real depth and especially if you’re looking to fill a specific role. DT is definitely a need for the Lions, who currently have very little depth at the position. As always in this series, a player must have an average consensus rank of 110 or over. My Top 10: 1. Kayden McDonald – Ohio State 2. Peter W

My Favourite Day-3 Tight Ends
This tight end class is polarising, some love it, some hate it. I am in the ‘love it’ group. Now, I will happily admit it is very bottom-heavy; the vast majority of the draftable talents are day-three players. In fact, half of my top 10 will be selected in rounds four and beyond. Because of that, I will do things slightly differently with this group, I will give you my top ten, then give you ten other day three prospects to know before the draft later this month. If you are n
