Lions 7 Round Mock Draft
The 2026 NFL Draft is a week away, player evaluations are complete and teams’ draft boards have been set. So, it’s time for a Detroit Lions 7-round mock, with trades. This will be a predictive mock based purely on gut feeling in what feels like the hardest year for predictions in a long time, outside of the first overall pick of course. The Lions still have holes to fill on both sides of the ball, that’s what I’ve tried to do with this mock. So let’s get on with it. 17.

My Favourite Day-3 Safeties
Welcome to the final instalment of my favourite day three players and we’re finishing with safety. I love this safety class; it has some serious depth, not just role players but guys who I believe can become solid NFL starters. I will also include players I have listed as slot defenders. As always, a player needs an average consensus rank of 110+ to be considered a day three guy. My Top 10: 1. Caleb Downs - Ohio State 2. Dillon Thieneman – Oregon 3. AJ Haulcy – LSU 4. Emman

My Favourite Day-3 DT’s
The interior defensive line class looked so promising before the college season and although most of the top guys had subpar seasons for various reasons, I think there is some real depth and especially if you’re looking to fill a specific role. DT is definitely a need for the Lions, who currently have very little depth at the position. As always in this series, a player must have an average consensus rank of 110 or over. My Top 10: 1. Kayden McDonald – Ohio State 2. Peter W

My Favourite Day-3 Tight Ends
This tight end class is polarising, some love it, some hate it. I am in the ‘love it’ group. Now, I will happily admit it is very bottom-heavy; the vast majority of the draftable talents are day-three players. In fact, half of my top 10 will be selected in rounds four and beyond. Because of that, I will do things slightly differently with this group, I will give you my top ten, then give you ten other day three prospects to know before the draft later this month. If you are n

My Favourite Day-3 Offensive Tackles
At this point in the process, the internet is saturated with the top 10s at each position, and as a result, you have heard their strengths, weaknesses, and have probably formed your own opinions. So, in this series, I will give you my top 10 at a position in a standard list, then go into depth on my favourite day 3 prospects at that position. The idea for this series came from Grandizer from the YouTube chat during the combine live stream, so shout out to you, my guy! To ens

Post Shrine & Senior Bowl 7-Round Lions Mock Draft
Got the 32 NFL teams, and draft-obsessed sickos like me, the draft is a year-round process. For the more casual follower and the majority of NFL media, the All-Star Bowl Games mark the beginning of the path to the draft. So now these games have been played, it seems the perfect time for a mock! The way I do mocks is a mixture of what I’d do and what I think the team would do. I’ll do my best to point out which picks are which as I go. In this mock I haven’t made any trades so

‘My Guys’ in the 2026 NFL Draft
How do I define ‘my guys?’ Good question – there is no rhyme or reason to it, they are just normally prospects that I am much higher on than other people. It could be an athletic trait I fall in love with, or their style of play, the scheme they play in, the way they move or a combination of any of the above. I’ll let you come up with your own definition for them, but in the meantime, here are some of ‘my guys’ in the upcoming 2026 NFL draft. Before we get started, let me i

Lions @ Eagles Game Preview
Ah, wasn't it great to get back to winning ways last week? Yes, the Commanders were not the same generals we ran into in last season's Divisional Round, but we still avenged that loss and purged most of the negative aura around the team. This week, we stay on the road for the second of our three-week jaunt in the NFC East. However, we take on the reigning Super Bowl champs this time, rather than a battered-and-bruised team still looking over their shoulders for Senator McCart

Lions @ Commanders Game Preview
Well, I'm sorry last week was so bad. Was it a bye week hangover? Did Graham do a massive fart in the locker room and annoy Tate and Christian so much that they refused to talk to him? After all, he is known for having a bit of a swamp ass. Did Frank forget to send the offensive line their weekly milk delivery, so their bones were extra brittle?

Vikings @ Lions Game Preview
I hope y'all enjoyed the bye week and your break from Lions football (though damn, were most of those early slate games bad or what?). Luckily for us, Detroit is back this week, hosting Minnie Mouse-sota for a divisional ding-dong battle.

Bucs @ Lions Game Preview
After consulting with my many, many, 10 fans, and in hopes of changing our fates, I'm changing up how I do my game previews. I will now look at three or four key stats I think will prove key in the game ahead. Let's dive into the Bucs-Lions game preview.

Lions @ Chiefs Game Preview
Our Lions have the best offence in football by points scored (34.8 PPG), the second-best point differential (+62), third-best turnover differential (+6), third-best success rate (49.4%), and fifth-best offence by EPA per play (0.153). Who would have thought that would happen after Week 1, huh?

Knight (Jr.) Rider
The Lions' conquest of the AFC North continues with the final of their three-week stand against the rival division. This week, they make the trek to Cincinnati, Ohio to take on the floundering Bengals.

No Beating About the (Devin) Bush
This week, our 2-1 Lions come home to defend the den as an old foe makes the short trip to try their darndest to put us back to .500. Once again, the Great Lakes Classic is upon us, as the 1-2 Cleveland Browns come to town.

Chicago's Tiny Johnson
Am I above making a cheeky innuendo? No. After last week's debacle, I think we all need a joke to lift our mood (Why did Tua open a bakery? Because he's great at making turnovers). Did you expect any less of me?
